Temporal Lobe

(Creative Writing)

Just as creative thoughts are the foundation of prose and poetry, the temporal lobe is the foundation of the storyteller's brain. It is responsible for processing sensory information and forming short-term and long-term memories. In my temporal lobe, you will find stories, poems and plays that draw on the five senses to create memories of imaginary characters – ranging from modern rockstars to 19th-century emigrants. These works explore personal and professional relationships with joy, pathos and humour.

Runt of the Litter

It's bad enough to be late for your niece's birthday party. It's even worse when your six-year-old insists on wearing a dog-suit.
